The Jasper in this piece has a unique natural pattern. Tall brown 'trees' have formed a small wood during the fall season. A band of clear inclusion in it looks just like a little creek flowing between the trees. I have carved a mountain and tree environment with the jeweler's saw for the jasper to set on. A shinny silver waterfall was added, showing where the creek was coming from. Patina was used to oxidize silver to different levels to reach different colors. Blue mountains, red, orange, and violet trees have formed a beautiful fall season scene. A facet smoke quartz briolette was attached at the bottom, giving it a classic look. Then the whole piece was sealed with spray lacquer to preserve the color. The chain attached the pendant part with two hand-forged 'branches.'
